This is my go to sushi spot if I'm ever craving for some cheap decent sushi. Very affordable and very good for the price . Hokkaido always hit the spot! And it won't damage your pocket either . I got the dragon roll which is one of my favorite roll. It is a must get , I has eel , avocado , and softsheft crab. I always get the salmon nigiri , spicy chop scallops , and yellow tail those are my go to sushi to get . If you like something a nice kick to and something oily I recommend to try the saba which is there mackerel. The service is always fast and quick . Great time to go is around 5-7 to avoid the dinner crowded. You never have to worried about parking because their parking lot is huge! They also have free complimentary miso soup and red bean soup ! I highly recommend this spot to anyone who like sushi and is on a budget !

This is a great sushi spot in Chinatown! It reminds me a lot of oishii which I really love, except this is closer to me! The sushi is good quality. I like the style of going up to order and then sitting down as it gives me time to look through the menu and not have to wait for a server to take our order. The restaurant itself has dim lighting but it contributes to a nice ambiance. The tables were all clean. This would be a great spot for a date, I'd go again!

Value for the money! Good food! Self service place. You order at the counter like fast food style then somebody deliver you your table. Nice service! Come early or you will have to line up in a long line.

I love Hokkaido for many reasons. The sushi is bomb and reasonably priced. They provide complimentary miso soup. And the food comes out relatively quickly (this time was an exception). We came in at around 1:30pm on a Saturday, so the parking lot in the plaza was wild and packed to the brim, but we were able to find a spot. The line to order wasn't long and even though it was popping inside, there were still some open tables. I ordered the basic spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls, which came out to be less than $12. It took quite some time for the food to come out, and we had to check in with the front twice. My friend received hers maybe 10 min after ordering, and then my other friend and I got ours 25 min after her. That was almost 40 min of waiting, which is unlike Hokkaido, especially since we didn't order anything big or extra- just sushi. The first time my friend checked in on the status of our food, the lady said it would come out soon. Then after 10-15 more min had passed, I asked the lady again and let her know we had been waiting over 30 min. She seemed to be getting peeved and stated the reason why it was taking so long was because the workers in the kitchen needed to eat... as she proceeded to bring a plate to another table. Idk but today was an off day lol, can't always expect it to be perfect though! The sushi was good, just seemed to be a bit warm. Paired well with the miso soup on the side. They are very generous with the fish fillings, which is a plus! Highly recommend the crazy spider roll!!!
